"I have had lessons and horse training by Sara Vogelpohl since October, 2017 on a weekly basis.
I feel fortunate that I followed up on a recommendation to have Sara help me get back to riding after more than a year layoff.
My horse had not been worked under saddle for the same amount of time and this did not benefit her either since she had been a broodmare most of her life. I am 75 and have had a couple of significant surgeries including hip replacement. I needed to regain my confidence as well as riding instruction. Sara started my mare back under saddle along with starting me back to riding. Sara explains well from the ground and demonstrates as a very competent rider. Sara assesses the horse and the rider to determine each plan for every session for both horse and rider.
Both my horse and I have benefitted and I am very pleased to have Sara as my riding instructor and horse trainee. My horse and I have become better partners and we both have gotten better skills and confidence.
Sara gives the lessons at my residence which is an advantage for me. Her rates are very reasonable for personal lessons and being at the client’s residence and are reasonable whether she instructs from the ground or rides the horse.
